• Trunnion-Mounted Ball Structure: The ball is fixed by upper/lower trunnions, eliminating displacement under 42MPa pressure. This design reduces seat wear compared to floating ball valves, ensuring stable sealing in frequent-operation systems (e.g., wellhead choke lines).
• NACE MR0175 Compliance: F316 stainless steel resists sulfide stress cracking (SSC) in H₂S-rich environments (up to 20,000 ppm H₂S), critical for sour gas fields and refineries.
• RTJ Flange Sealing: RTJ grooves with metal ring gaskets create a leak-tight seal under extreme pressure, outperforming RF flanges in high-pressure, vibration-prone systems (e.g., offshore pipelines).
• Fire-Safe & Anti-Static Design: API 607-certified, with metal backup seals to maintain sealing if PEEK/PTFE seats degrade in fire. Anti-static springs dissipate static electricity, reducing spark risks in flammable media.
• F316 Corrosion Resistance: Molybdenum (2-3%) in F316 enhances resistance to chlorides and acids, making it suitable for seawater, brine, and chemical processes where F304 would corrode.

IV. Manufacturing Processes

• Forging & Heat Treatment: F316 ingots are forged to dense blanks, eliminating casting defects. Solution annealing (1050℃ quenching) enhances corrosion resistance by stabilizing the microstructure.
• Precision Machining: Ball and trunnion surfaces are CNC-ground to Ra ≤0.8μm for uniform seat contact. RTJ flange grooves are machined to tight tolerances (±0.02mm) to ensure gasket compatibility.
• Seal Assembly: PEEK seats are compression-molded and lapped to match ball contours, pre-loaded to maintain contact under pressure fluctuations. Metal backup seals are integrated for fire safety.
• Testing:
  • Hydrostatic Test: Body tested at 63MPa (1.5×2500LB) for 30 minutes; seat tested at 46.2MPa (1.1×2500LB) with water.
  • NACE Test: Material samples undergo SSC testing in H₂S-saturated brine to verify compliance with MR0175.
  • Fire Test: API 607 certification via 700℃ fire exposure, followed by leak testing.
