Technical Specifications and Design Compliance of Double Offset Butterfly Valves

Double offset butterfly valves feature a dual-eccentric design where the stem axis is offset from both the disc sealing surface and pipeline centerline. They achieve high-efficiency sealing via metal-elastic composite or full-metal seals, suitable for medium-temperature/pressure applications (e.g., chemical, metallurgy, energy industries).
Double Offset Butterfly Valves Key Specifications:
  • Pressure-Temperature: PN16-PN100 (Class 150-Class 600), -40°C~450°C (metal seals up to 550°C).
  • Materials:
    • Body: Ductile iron, WCB carbon steel, 316 stainless steel, duplex steel (2205);
    • Disc: Hardened stainless steel or Stellite alloy surfacing;
    • Seals: EPDM/NBR (soft) or graphite-metal alloy (hard).
  • Connections: Wafer, flanged (RF/RTJ), welded, compliant with ASME B16.5/EN 1092.
